New Yorker Hotel Makes Booking Easier With New 'Text Message For Rates' Service
The legendary New Yorker Hotel continues to make history as it is currently the only
hotel near Javits Center that has implemented a text message rate lookup service. Interested parties can simply text the word "RATES" to (516) 240-9115 to view current rates and specials at the iconic Manhattan hotel.

"Our goal is to make the reservation process as simple and stress-free as possible, especially for people 'on the go', and this new service does just that," Lima added.
Users of this service will receive the day's rates and room availability via text message. To simplify the booking process, the text message service is also integrated with the New Yorker Hotel's mobile site so that people can go right from the text message directly to booking a room with their handheld cellular device.
"Being able to look up The New Yorker Hotel's rates by sending a simple text message is very appealing to those who may not have internet capabilities on their mobile device," said Eric Bryant, e-commerce manager for The New Yorker Hotel and developer of the "Text Message For Rates" service. "This is cutting-edge technology that not many developers are very familiar with, and we've got it!"
