The nightly Facility Fee of $34.08 plus taxes, is a mandatory hotel fee applied to all guests reservations.
The fee includes premium Wi-Fi, unlimited domestic/ international calls, access to the business center (internet, printing etc.) and access to the fitness center.
Upon check-in we require a credit card hold of $45 per night for security/ incidentals. If there are no charges billed to the room (room service, restaurant/ bar, upgrade, etc.) or damages to the room, the full amount of the hold will be released on the day of departure. For domestic credit cards it can take 3-7 business days for the hold to be released. For international credit cards it can take 10-20 business days for the hold to be released. If using a debit card it could take longer for the funds to be released by the bank. If using cash for your deposit, there is a minimum hold of $250.
18 years of age. All guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
We are a 100% non-smoking hotel. If smoking is located anywhere within the hotel, there is a non-refundable penalty charge of $250 per smoking violation.
We welcome 4 legged guests as well. There is a pet cleaning fee of $50 per night per pet. No more than 2 pets are allowed in the guest room. The pet must be in a crate when the guest is not in the room.
LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION
The New Yorker Hotel is located at 481 8th Avenue, between 34th and 35th Streets.
The hotel does not have a parking garage however valet and self- parking options are available. Valet parking is located in front of the hotel where one of the door men will be happy to assist you with your vehicle.
ICON Parking is located at 1 Penn Plaza (34th street between 7th and 8th avenue). Rates are calculated per 24 hours, with no in and out privileges. On the day of departure the vehicle must be retrieved at the exact time it was dropped off (or earlier) to avoid incurring additional charges. If using valet parking, please contact the Front Desk to request your vehicle 45 minutes prior to your expected departure.
- Valet Parking is $70.00 for a sedan and $80.00 for an SUV
- Self-parking is $40.00 for a sedan and $50.00 for an SUV
The hotel does not have a transportation service; however we do recommend 8th Avenue Concierge Services for your transportation needs.
Luggage storage is available for a fee of $5 per bag.
Coffee makers may be requested for a fee of $25 per night plus taxes.
Refrigerators are available for a one-time fee of $30 plus taxes.
Of course! We want to ensure our youngest guests have a great night’s sleep as well.
Rollaway beds are available for an additional fee of $50 per night plus taxes. Not all rooms are equipped to fit a rollaway bed. Please contact the hotel in advance should you require an additional bed in the room.

Our 24-hour Fitness Center is located in the lower lobby. It includes state-of-the-art fitness bikes, treadmills, free weights, and weight machines.The minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Any guest under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

We accept packages on behalf of our guests, which will be stored in our mail room for an additional fee. We ask that any packages sent to the hotel include the full name on the reservation.
